Diplomatic Compass

Fast News. Sharp Briefs. Strategic Voice

About

Our Story

Cutting through the noise
Diplomatic Compass was born out of the need for faster, sharper, and more inclusive ways to understand international power politics. We believe strategy should not be reserved for the few and that clarity is a form of access.

Our platform speaks in multiple languages, formats, and voices, reaching across divides, and amplifying perspectives too often left out.

Who We Are

Diplomatic Compass is an independent strategic platform based in Brussels, delivering sharp, policy-relevant insights on international politics, NATO affairs, transatlantic security and Southern Neighborhood.

We translate complex developments into accessible analysis, bridging the dots between Brussels, Washington, and the  Southern Neighborhood from the Mediterranean to the Gulf.

We specialize in fast-moving video content under 60 seconds, as well as in-depth strategic briefs and expert reports tailored to decision-makers, regional analysts, and policy professionals.

Our Mission

To inform, challenge, and connect. Diplomatic Compass covers security and foreign policy through a dual lens: from within Brussels’ institutions, and from the vantage point of the regions most affected.

We produce original short videos, strategic briefs, and expert commentary in both written and audiovisual formats. Our goal is to amplify informed voices, shape serious debate and go beyond the headlines.

  • NATO: Strategy and Defense, Cooperative Security,  and Southern Neighborhood Partnerships
  • EU:  Foreign and Security Policy, diplomacy, and engagement with the Southern Neighbourhood and Gulf.
